The V - Oriental Dragon designed by La Sonmai in 2020 focuses on Feng shui values ​​for the owner. Oriental Dragon lacquer painting is delicately made with charming moving curves being rich in lustrous gold. This is to bring a wealth of prosperity and luck to not only who personally owns it but also that person’s family members. Furthermore, it helps avoiding lies and troubles. Each La Sonmai lacquer product made scrupulously by artisans is an art work in high aesthetic value. In order to make a lacquer product on traditional mode, it must spend time and effort with around 15 strict steps. Once the base object is made, its surface must be prepared for lacquer ornamentation, then objects coated with the treated, dyed and dried sap of wax tree paint, applied in several coats to a base. The ground coating is important to smooth the substrate before the final application of the lacquer. The following steps is to brushes, let the products dry in the drying cabinet and then grinding and polishing. The final step is decoration which are included lacquer painting, inlaid materials such as gold leaf, silver leaf, egg shell, seashell,... and raised the final lacquer wear as protection.
